The Red Dots are the One Degree connection between sponsors and recipients.
Using Google Earth, "thumbtacks" will mark the locations of the villages who receive laptops.
By clicking on the Red Dot, you will be able to learn more about the people and places using the laptops (or whatever is donated).
If you donated a laptop to Project Red Dot -- thank you for making our dream a reality, and we hope you feel good knowing you are helping people in need who live a world away from you.

After we solve the IT and Logistics issues, we need to send the computers to someplace in need. Does your existing charity work with people who can benefit from free computers? Do the people in that location have electricity and internet access? Can you email us a digital picture when the laptops are delivered?
Email us- let's figure it out.
We plan to collect thousands of laptops as Project Red Dot grows.
We need help in the following areas:
1) North America - Distributed IT support. We need a company to check out the laptops.
2) North America - Logistics and Shipping. We need a company to help us handle shipping the laptops to the developing world.
3) The Developing World - Deployment. We need a group to help us figure out where to ship the laptops (electricity and internet required).
Do you have a solution? Email us - we'd love to hear your ideas.
