DONATE A LAPTOP...
Donate YOUR old laptop on your next junk removal job. Select franchise partners are collecting laptops via an organized effort through the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? system. It is our mission to ship working laptops, via existing aid organizations, to needy parts of the world.

We need working laptops with respective power cords and batteries that are less than 5 years old and that have a CD/DVD drive. Your laptop will be erased of all data, reloaded with an operating system, some basic software, and set up for Internet access.
Project Red Dot is a non-profit organization. We are affiliated with Ghana Together, a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
Project Red Dot is designed to be more efficient than other types of charities which spend money on fundraising, phone calls, mailings, etc.
Although, many of the laptops are in good working conditions, others may need a power cord or hard drive to make them eligible to ship overseas. We also will use cash donations to offset domestic and international shipping costs associated with moving the laptops.
Do you want to help? Donate $25, $50, or $100 and feel good about yourself! We have no paid positions and no overhead, so 100% of your donations will go towards helping people.
Thank you for your generosity.
A $50.00 donation will buy a universal laptop voltage converter and plug adapter, so a laptop from the U.S. will work with electricity in Africa.
Or, a $50.00 donation will buy a new hard drive because many laptops we receive work, but were donated without hard drives.
A $100 donation will buy a new laptop battery, as some of the laptops we receive are donated without a working battery.
We appreciate your support.
